beauty in random happenings

There are some days where I feel like I was put on this earth to observe. Not just to observe any little thing, but to see the beauty that many people pass up during their daily routine. There are many amazing things people miss out on seeing because of how busy they are, or even just because they are too consumed in their own task.

There are times where taking a step back and just looking at life is absolutely needed. There is beauty in almost everything out there. Even with the pollution, anger, heartbreak, and all the other negative things, there can be beauty if you choose to see it. It doesn't have to come from nature, which seems to be the image that comes to many people's minds when they are asked about seeing beauty... this beauty can come from anywhere.

A realization that what someone's doing can be beautiful. A moment in the middle of the city, where you're being passed by cars, people, and bicycles alike can be beautiful. A serene moment sitting at the kitchen table, eating dinner with your family can be beautiful. A moment of silent staring in the middle of the most bitter argument can be beautiful.

All it takes is a second of realization. It doesn't even need to be a forced one... sometimes it just happens.

My suggestion for when this happens... grasp that moment, don't let it go, and run. Just let your mind take it and expand on it, and make that moment last. Then when you're immersed in that moment, share it. Whether it's telling someone they look good, helping someone, or telling someone you love them, just share it.

I view this world as a world of inherent good, a world of beauty, of positivity, but the negatives that people create in this world often cloud my view. (I am not perfect... therefore my views will waiver... but that's the beauty of holding a view). All it takes to make this world a positive place, is one small, right action from each person.

Maybe someday, this world will be a place of peace and beauty for all to see without needing to search for it.
